This blog will serve as a space for you to get to know the people and the activities being engaged in by the merchants at the Y.O.U.R.S. Store. While the store is in a sense a marketplace for selling a variety of projects, it is also a way to form connections amongst national and international networks of people and organizations which work for community self sustainability.

We will ask our contributers to share information about the projects they work on, the products they produce, and the specific goals your investment helps to support.

There will be general fundraising goals set out for each organization and specific projects will be highleghted and tracked each month. We want you to see how much your purchase helps and will provide some sort of tracking device in the space at right.

Finally, our store uses a barter-up method of social investment. We set base prices. If you feel that the product and the project it supports are worth more than the base price you can add a "social investment" credit that will support either that project or any other project and organization. These "social investment" values range from $1 to $100.

One note about donations, we are currently not considering purchases or donations tax exempt. If you would like to give a general tax exempt donation to any organization contact them directly, use our site to support them by purchasing their products.
